A group trip to Kirkwood means visiting one of the most beautiful valleys in the Sierras. To qualify for the huge discounts we offer groups you need just 20 people or more. Groups are eligible to receive discounts on lift tickets, rentals, lessons, inner tubing, cross-country, and lodging. As a "thank you" for bringing your group to Kirkwood we'll give you one free adult lift ticket per 20 paid participants. We ask that you make a reservation for your group 2 weeks in advance and provide your final numbers at least 24-hours in advance by calling 209.258.SNOW.
Our Group Sales department is committed to doing everything necessary to help your group have a fun and memorable alpine experience during your stay with us. Whether they were looking for long and fun blue cruisers or double black steeps and chutes, Kirkwood has it all, plus extremely minimal lift lines. Once at Kirkwood you'll be a part of an atmosphere of genuine ski passion that pulses through every lift and run you take here.
Transportation for groups is made easy with Kirkwood. If your group is staying in South Lake Tahoe we'll book a private charter for you at $5 per person round trip. If you are coming from the Bay Area, Sacramento, Reno or any other outlining areas we have arranged special rates through various bus companies that we will pass along to your group.
Food and Beverage options are endless ranging from vouchers that can be used at any dining location to a catered meal in our Wall Bar Dining room. We can have pizzas delivered to your bus for the ride home from our very own Snowshoe Thompson's Pizza, which serves up some of the most flavorful pies in the Sierras. Mid-day BBQ's are a favorite as well as Apres Ski Parties after full days of riding.
Lodging discounts may apply when there are 20 or more people, or 5 or more units booking together. Kirkwood Vacations rents privately owned ski-in/ski-out and slope side condominiums, all located just steps away from lifts, cross country skiing, and all of the village amenities. Each condominium is unique. All except hotel-style units feature a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, color TV, VCR, and telephone. Thanks to our new Mountain Village and expanded lodging options, we can now provide your group with a complete destination resort experience. Upon arrival have your group representative go to the new Group Tickets Office located adjacent to the General Store in Red Cliffs Day Lodge. View map of Kirkwood Valley here. Payment for group tickets and services must be received in one form of payment consisting of cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or American Express (no individual purchases please).
